Case Update: Rebel Cole v. Adam Hasner, et al.

The United States District Court for the Southern District of Florida has reaffirmed a professor’s right to engage in off-duty speech on matters of public concern without risking his livelihood. On June 10, 2026, the Court ordered that Dr. Rebel Cole’s case against Florida Atlantic University for his unlawful suspension—based on his posts on the X platform—can proceed.
