On April 26, 2021, the U.S. Supreme Court heard oral arguments in the consolidated cases of Americans for Prosperity Foundation v. Becerra and Thomas More Law Center v. Becerra.

The two conservative advocacy groups challenged a California policy requirement that tax-exempt charitable organizations must disclose the names and addresses of major donors. The groups argued that the policy violated the First Amendment of the U.S. Constitution.

Schaerr l Jaffe founding partner Erik Jaffe authored an amicus brief in the consolidated cases and discussed the case on a podcast with the Federalist Society.  You can listen to the full podcast here.
