Statement on Fifth Circuit Reversal of District Court Denial of Preliminary Injunction in Sambrano v. United Airlines

Statement from Mark Paoletta, Counsel for plaintiffs:

We are pleased that the Fifth Circuit recognized the substantial and irreparable harm that United's unlawful actions are causing its employees.  We look forward to continuing to vindicate the rights of United employees with religious or medical reasons for not being able to receive the COVID-19 vaccine.  No employee should be required to forsake her beliefs or her health in order to continue working.

Statement from co-founders of AE4HF, Sherry Walker, Laura Cox and Danielle Runyan:

When the co-founders of Airline Employees 4 Health Freedom formed our organization, our sole goal was to defend the religious liberty and medical autonomy of our members.  Today's news out of the 5th Circuit is welcome relief for the 2000+ men and women of United Airlines currently suffering under United CEO Scott Kirby's draconian vaccine mandate at a time when mandates are being dropped across the nation.   We look forward to continuing to fight to protect our rights.
